It's the dual-mass flywheel that is making the noise. as RED_DET said, it is normal. Supras did this too and they also had dual-mass flywheels.

I have had a noisy clutch since day 1 in mine, makes a noise while it's being pushed down at hi revs. Dealer worked on it, but nothing changed, there is completely nothing wrong with the it, just the noise that I wasn't used to. Do you guys think it could be because of the flywheel as well??

I have an 06 6MT and seem to be experiencing something similar.

Randomly, the car will seem to idle a little louder than normal. It almost resembles an 18 wheeler but obviously not as loud. At that time, it also vibrates the clutch pedal. Seems to go away when giving gas and the car seems to run fine.

I also noticed a faint one second grind noise when going forward. It seems to only occur when the car goes forward upon ignition. It will not occur when I've been starting and stopping in traffic. Curious if anyone encountered this too.

Thanks!

So far my 07 6MT is quiet as a mouse. Maybe this is fixed with this new one or I need to get over the 100mile mark before it starts
