Hey guys I am a new G35 owner and I am looking to lower it, wanted some opinions on what I need to do. Do I need to get sway bars and camber kits and all that or will the vehicle be fine. Any help would be awesome. Its a 2006 Coupe with the 19inch stock forged wheels.

Depending on how low you go determines whether or not you will need a camber kit.

Sway bars should not be necessary, but would certainly increase the handling of the car. They would do this whether you were lowered or not.

Eibach pro kits drop the car an inch and the tein h tech springs drop the car less than an inch and the tein s techs drop the car on par with eibachs pro kit. That information can be obtained from my site in signature.

My recommendation would be coil-overs. But that is a bit of a jump in price compared to just springs. I finally went with BC Racing coils and can't be happier.

Sorry to jump in on this post late. Quick question for RED_DET: Is there enough camber adjustment in the stock components to handle the Tien or RSR springs (like you were discussng @ 1/2" drop)?

I know the recommended way to go is coilovers, however, that is way out of the budget right now, but I was up in the mountains this weekend and the G handles like a pig (a big, heavy pig) on stock springs.

Thanks.

1/2" drop will not require camber correction parts.
