I've a 2006 G35 that I recently acquired with a blown engine. From the reading I've done this should be a rev up engine due to the fact that it has a manual transmission. I'm thinking that information is incorrect though because the engine sure doesn't look like a rev up to me. It has a single air intake.

My fourth digit is a C. My question is, what engine do I need to buy to get this thing back on the road and how can I identify it?

If memory serves the early rev ups were single intake still.

But you can also look at the Tach (and please show us a pic)
Whats the redline on it?
If its greater than 6600 its a rev up.
