2006 g35 bose won't play Mp3!

Hi all, i recently bought a mint 2006 g35- absolutely love th car but the bose sound system is driving me nuts cause it will not play my mp3 cd's- I have tried everything- closed session, oen session, loading the songs in separate folders, loading them individually- WONT PLAY! can anyone shed any light as to what the issue might be.

I assume these are CD's you burned. First, make certain you are burning ALL tracks in .cda format and not .mp3 or .wma format. If I remember correctly, BOSE head units can't handle mixed formats on one disc.

Are you finalizing the session when burning the CD? Make sure the "multi-session" option is turned off.
Try burning the CD at a slower speed. Just because your burner can burn at 48X doesn't mean you should. I've had issues before with bad burns that were fixed by reducing the burn speed.
Not all discs are not created equal. While bulk CD packs are a better deal, you still should buy a reputable brand.
