i just got rid of my 02 eclipse gt, had so much stuff in it, to much to list.but i was looking for simple stuff to start out with, i.e. cold air, ignition system, new cats ect... i would like to stay with NISMO but whatever gives the best number. also, my dealer said they would keep my warrenty if i used the NISMO cold air intake, but i dont know how much truth is behind there talk. any feedback is appreciated.

p.s. all i have thus far is a k&n filter, and i put in a turbonator, i noticed a little more pick up off the line and better mpg on the highway at about 70-75mph.

Im not real familiar with the VQ35 as far as what gives power compared to what, but I know for a fact that headers give a pretty good bang for the buck for that engine. I wouldn't worry about a CAI unless your wanting some sound. I start off with headers, then maybe a y-pipe or exhaust system, maybe a pulley?

Try and find a all Altima forum and ask people there. If you don't get any ideas from there go to maxima.org and see what they have since you have the same engine as 02-06 maxima's.

the dealer will honor the warranty if they install it but it has to be the nismo intake. this was on maxima.org.

The dealer can only void a warranty if they can prove that an aftermarket part caused whatever the problem is.

The intake and exhaust system in the Maxi/Alty is pretty good. I believe the Alty and Max (with VQ35) both suffer the same fate with an intake. More noise, but not any measurable increase in performance. Headers is the way to go for more power if you are staying NA.
