I just recently bought a 2006 altima 2.5s... I have the housing and gauges from an SE-R that I want to install in my 2.5... my question is, has anyone done this and any tips?

It would be nice if there was a connector behind the compartment that the gauges replace... it looks like all 3 connect through 1 wiring harness...

FYI, this is what I boughthttp://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...67212

Hmmm, I don't know anything about these gauges or their installation, but I would definitely look into installing them if I hear they work for your 2.5s. Let me know if it works out and post some pics!

. . . I'd probably be sad though to see that my MPG is like 10 with the way I drive!

Pretty sure it should connect for the 2.5 and 3.5 are identical in the interior sense, I know it can be done........if you got the know how do it because the dealship will charge up the butt. But I believe once this is done only 2 of the gauges work.........I could be mistaken.

I myself have not done this............I would advise you be careful with the take out of the center console obviously not to damage the dash board.
