Looking for some input: when my Altima is idling in drive with the AC on it continually "bumps". I'm not sure if this is the AC causing the engine to skip or something else. Just need some pointers on what to look for that could be the cause. The air gets cold and the blowers and fans work; there are no problems while idling with the AC turned off; the engine doesn't idle high. The skips happen more frequently when the car is in drive but it occasionally happens also while in park.
Thanks!

Could be a bad compressor clutch or pulley, causing uneven load.

maybe the belt has too much slack and needs to be replaced.
