When I turn off the engine it immediately makes a zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz sound for a few seconds. any ideas?

Did anyone help with this? I think it is the fuel pump that continues to run (noise coming from under the back seat) for about a second or two after the car is shut off.
