2006 350z base coupe needs cruise control

OK, you all know how much fun this car is to drive. Unfortunately, I have a bit of a heavy foot. Did I mention how fun this car is to drive? Does anyone know how I can get an aftermarket speed control unit for this manual shift 2006 Nissan 350z base coupe?The dealer says it isn't possible and I can't find any info on how to do it.Thanks in advance for any replies.

welcome to nico!not sure about retrofitting oe cruise but you can go to your local rv center, they likely still sell the stand alone cruise units, there are a few types available, some measure driveshaft rpm, others use engine vacum to pull a dashpot, but there are aftermarket units available, dealerships tend to be very narrow minded

LoL I had the same problem. I have the Coupe version as well. I used to be able to just forget where my foot was, and still avoid speeding tickets. But it's not like that with the Z, start to zone out a lil bit and I'm almost at 90mph, I was hurting real bad with a cruise, and sometimes regretted not getting the touring model, or fully loaded. But eventually u get used to it though and u can zone out with out getting nabbed! So don't stress about the install.. cause it really will involve a lot of components and wiring.

Yeah it would probably be a lot of work to install cruise control. Just watch your speeds.

yea i get that way to its was like bam 90+ but then a put a lowed exhaust on it and its helped alot now i find me self not on the gas a much
