Has anyone got extensive experience with the auto trans in the 2006 roadster model?I am wondering about its durability - especialy if I rev to or near readline before manually shifting (I like to redline). Over time have you noticed any degradation of transmission? Thanks in advance.

If you like to redline I would suggest upgrading your transmission and torque converter. Good place to go is Speed force racing, they did my transmission and I am pushing 450+rwh from a 2004 G35 5AT.

http://www.zcar.com/forums/read/5/1916100Well to my surprise the automatic won all 3 runs. The drivers switched cars and the automatic still won. I still don’t get it what does the auto have that the 6 speed doesn’t?
