Does anyone know if it'll work in Hawaii?

In description mentions only "Continental US and Canada".....and map shows only "Continental US and Canada" so I am guessing no Hawaii and Alaska coverage.

DaSerb is correct. These discs have never had data for Hawaii or Alaska.

Has anyone purchased the disc? Did you find updates in areas where they've been needed?

Do you have the last update? Me personally, if i had a version that was say, only 1 to 1 1/2 years old, I wouldn't bother. But that's just me. I just ordered this update 3 days ago, BUT only because the disc that i currently have is the original one that came with car.

Lol, Besides, you can always use your phone as a secondary route guidance device.

Good point....as I have the last update so I don't think I will bother with this one unless it is a major update.

If anyone would like to buy the 7.7 disc I have, I'd be willing to sell it for $145, which is about $15 less than Navteq's website once you factor in tax and shipping. It'll be enclosed in its DVD case and come with the Navteq DVD Information Guide.

Edit: Sold.

You must have finally got that burner to work...

I already have the 7.7 disc but I can't get my burner to work. I'll send you $15 for a back up copy of the 7.7 though!
