Yes, yes it is. The Nissan Skyline is the same car as the Infiniti G35. This is not however the GTR, which has yet to be released. It looks like a US launch for the GTR will be in 2007 now. I have no idea about Japan though.

Last I've heard it will have the VQ35 twin-turboed pushing over 400hp. They seem to be having trouble stuffing the 45 in the engine bay while keeping the car somewhat balanced.

what dose a 350z cost? I think that a twin-turbo would be abit higer then a 350z.

The 350z goes from $26k+. I think fully loaded it's like $35k. Don't quote me on that, but it's a rough idea.

I think it looks foolish... like a 350Z with Downs Syndrom.

Maybe it's just "slammed" too much or something... or maybe it's the bling bling wheels... whatever it is I don't like it.

why are they simply rereleasing the G35 with the skyline name? I know that the skyline IS the G35, but it makes no sense to have both a Skyline and a G35 on american shores

That's the same Skyline that was at HIN Seattle..

About the Skyline name: did you know, there is a Skyline line :) of cars?

It's rumored this line will be going to the Euro market in 2005, when Carlos Ghosn returns to the head of Renault in France.

My guess is that that car is just JDM badged. Half the G35 coupes I see anymore have JDM badges.

^^^^ I think he's right.

The skyline is already here, and the G35 is it. When Nissan releases the GTR, It will be under nissan's badge, and it probably wont look much like the G35 at all.

It's just a rebadged g35 coupe. If it were authentic you would be able to see some sort of guages or a hint of a steering wheel form the second pic.

A North American released Skyline would be LHD. I do agree, however, that it is probably just a G35.

There is a guy on here, forgot his name, he was at the NICO National Convention in Lexington this past March. Anyway, he has a g35c badged with Nissan and Skyline emblems. Even has the little 350GT on the back. I liked it actually, except for the bling bling wheels and the automatic part. Other then that it has quite a bit of work done to it performance wise.

Yeah I saw that car, he won an award for puting decals on a car that don't belong. Hooray for claiming to be something that your not.:ylsuper
