2005 Q45 Satellite Radio Not Working

Hey guys,

I recently decided to get satellite radio activated for my car, since it already has it installed. I called up SiriusXM and they gave me a 90 day free trial, but failed to activate it. They would send the activation signal, and I would wait up to 15 minutes sitting on channel 184, but no signal would come. I still want to enjoy the rest of my 90 days and want to activate the radio, but nothing I tried with Sirius seemed to work.

Any ideas?

have you checked the fsm?

You might post this in the radio forum or in the M fourm. the # of people w/ 05 Q is very small, compared to the # of people w/ Ms for 2005.

I posted it in the general forum - haven't seen any results there either.

The FSM has practically nothing on the SAT radio =\

Mine setup in minutes. Are you sure you entered the Sirius code correctly when asked?

I seem to remember there was a certain number of speific steps to follow in order to activate.

I know the Sirius module is inside the trunk behind the side trim panel on the RH Drivers side. Very easy to access.

Yes, I double and triple-checked the code to make sure it was right. I don't even hear the sample stations though - no ads, nothing. When I get home tomorrow, I'll check the module out.
