I've been told that Infiniti's most recent (2012) satellite antenna can be used in place of my 2005 model and that reception is far superior.

Has anybody updated their antenna with Infiniti's latest generation?

Can anybody confirm that, say, a 2012 M or QX series satellite antenna (rear mount) can be installed on a 2005 Q45?

Correct part number would be appreciated.

Parts Dept was not sure, but gave this number for the 2012 M Series as: 282081DV0B.

You can also just install the wing antenna the '06 Q45 comes equipped with as well.
