My Pathfinder has some sort of fuel sensor problem. The check engine light is always on and the fuel gauge takes a couple days to register after I fill it up. The distance to empty just blinks with "--------" most of the time, but will sometimes decide to register. Anybody else had this issue? Please tell me this is something easy to fix, 'cause I'm out of warranty (about 55k miles).

Hate to tell you this but I don't think it's an easy fix. I had the same issue on my 05, it was the fuel level sensor, and they had to partially drain the tank and remove it. They fixed this along with the front drive shaft. This was done around 42k miles under the extended warranty. At 45k miles I just had them replace the rear drive shaft.
