I live in CT, most of my driving is flat, highway driving - not mountain roads. I commute off hours, so it's not stop & go either. Dealer says this is normal - I'm not buying it. I'd like to know what others are getting. I've been using premium gas, going to try a lower grade to see if that will help any.
This is normal as the dealer told you. and its not just the pathfinder we get complaints on fuel economy on all truck models. I have been with nissan for 10 yrs now and the concern seems to only come up everytime the fuel prices take a hike. We dont ever hear about fuel milage concerns when fuel prices are stable. this is statisically speaking from my experiance over the last 10 yrs as a nissan technician. I have never found a problem with the cars in this case, the fuel alpha on the car is right with in specs when we test them.
