2005 oil dipstick issue

Apparently this is a common problem, so I'm sort of lost as to why there are no fixes online.

anyway, the plastic handle melts 100% of the time and breaks due to the heat from the engine.

What's the fix? is there a suitable replacement that has a metal handle? if so where to buy? is there one from another make/model of car that I can substitute for this POS nissan one? thanks for the help, dunno what to do about this but I can't replace a part every week.

I'm purchasing a new dipstick, supposedly the model that 'fits perfect' and apparently, according to advanced auto parts, its made of "tougher plastic that won't break". So we'll see. I'm thinking of just wrapping the end of the handle in heat tape outright and seeing how it holds up. I'll update my progress.
