2005 Nissan Pathfinder Window Switch Issue

3 days out of warranty.. I can't raise the rear passenger windows (either side) from the front driver control switch. They will go down but not up, I have to raise them from the rear seat switches.

Any ideas?

try a cpl different nissan dealers. might just find one that will honor the warranty. maybe try using the excuse that you were out of town for a week with the car when it happened. one would think that the L.A. area must have gobs of dealerships...worth a try.

Sounds like front drivers side window switches need to be replaced If its anything like my 99, you can take it apart and replace JUST the bare switches themselves

Update:

All sorts of fun going on here.. We took delivery of the car on 1/5/2005. I made the service appointment on 1/2/2005, but they were unable to take me until the 5th

I brought in on the fifth and Nissan has an in service date of January 3rd.. which was impossible because we were in chicago until 1/4 and the vehicle didn't even get PPI'd until 1/4/2005.

In any event.. I'm now dealing with their Consumer Affairs Department.. we'll see where that gets me.

its probably a cheap fix. Dont get too crazy. I had the same problem in my 99. It was a faulty window switch. I got one off ebay for $5, fixed it in less than 10 mins.
