2005 Nissan Frontier 2.5 L / Dipstick

My Son bought a 2005 Nissan Frontier 2.4L about 6 months ago. When we were checking the transmission fluid, the dipstick came up " DRY". The transmission itself performs normally. I took the courtesy of measuring the "Dipstick" and it measures 25" inches. I'm curious would it be possible that my Son has the wrong size "Dipstick " for that Frontier. If so, is there's anyone out there that came provide me with some assistance to this mater, it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Not likely its wrong.
More likely your trans is very low.
Fill it up soon, don't drive around low, you could be doing damage.
