2005 Nismo Frontier Transmission question

Alright fellas, searched around the site and could not find any info so im posting my question.I own a 2005 frontier, 4x4 4.0L auto, 68k miles. I dont drive it too often, mostly to pull my boat. Recently on my way to the lake, i was pulling out into traffic and when i gave gas, the truck stumbled. Also the SLIP and VDC lights come on. Its anytime i give gas over 3k RPMs. Driving slowly and not accelerating hard it is fine. Im sure its a transmission problem but i wanted to check with you guys. Im probably going to take it to the dealership to get my transmission oil changed. Any tips or anyone experience the same problem?Any tips or help will be greatly appreciated!
