2005 Murano Stereo Problems

Hello !
I have a 2005 Murano and it comes with standard 1 cd player, no AUX cable slot or cassette player either. My luck, the CD player stopped working, refuses to take in any CD's. I tried to open it up and see if there was a CD in there but I couldn't see anything. Are there any options I can do get a AUX in cable in there or a cassette player so that I could buy the AUX in Cassette player. There is a little slot underneath the CD slot thats not open that looks like a potential cassette player, but I have no idea what it is. Thanks for the help !

Might be worth reaching out to him and asking if he has any "quick fix" ideas. Otherwise, it sounds like a different head unit (with an aux port and USB drive) might be a good investment.
