Good morning!

TL;DR: Need an affordable scanner that does SAS recalibration.

I recently replaced the clock spring in my '05 SL. I'm getting the Slip and VDC lights when turning. I found that I probably need to recalibrate the Steering Angle Sensor (SAS). I'm also getting code C1143, which pretty much verifies the issue (Ref: BRC-98)

It seems that the SAS calibration on the Gen 1 can only be done via Consult-II, but I'm seeing a number of aftermarket scanners that claim they can do SAS reset on hundreds of vehicle makes. I'm a little skeptical since SAS calibration is super easy on most vehicles, but this one requires the Consult II, which would require a trip to the stealership.

So here's the question: is there an affordable (<$500) aftermarket "scanner" that can do SAS recalibration on the Murano? Preferably, I'd want something that can also calibrate the basic stuff like TPMS as well.

I've tried searching the forums, but there's too many potential Murano-specific variables to get a clear answer.

Thanks in advance!
