My wife has a 2005 Nissan Murano S. After filling her gas tank yesterday, the car was very slugglish and accelerated very slowly. Naturally, my first guess is she filled up with bad gas. The Nissan garage is telling us it could be one of 2 things: the IPDM or bad motor mounts. The IPDM could have just experienced a glitch, in which case no replacement is needed. They believe the passenger side motor mounts are bad, which could be loosening wires/hoses due to the excess shaking. I find this hard to believe and doubt it's purely a coincidence that the problems started right after fueling (which they ruled out, of course). Anybody ever hear of the IPDM or motor mounts causing such problems?

My murano had a recall on a clamp that held a hose on. The hose would come off and cause the car to not get any gas to it. Sometimes it would jerk when I tried to push the gas. If you pop the hood and look to the right top side there may be a loose hose. I would start there.
