We get mid-to-high 20s combined in ours with moderate driving (semi-conservative mixed with semi-hotrodding). I'd say that's pretty decent for a 265 hp 3100 lb car.
Best thing to start off with for improving fuel milage is to make sure the basics are covered, then move on to modifications. Make sure you're running the right tire pressure. Run a can of Techron, Lucas fuel system treatment or, better yet, BG44K (concentrated, highly effective fuel system cleaner) through the tank. Make sure you use gas with good detergents (or regularly add Techron or your favorite every few fillups). Make sure your spark plugs are in good shape. Make sure the air filter is clean.
Once those are taken care of, if you're still not seeing the milage you'd like (what are you hoping to get, by the way?), then I would move on to mods.
Just remember that the car was pretty well engineered to begin with, so slapping on generic "upgrades" may sound good but will probably have negative impacts rather than positive. For instance, stock airbox is well designed and gets good fresh air. No need to stick on a cone to draw heated air from the engine bay. Just get a higher flowing filter for the stock box. There are well designed aftermarket intakes out there. Just make sure you know what you're buying before you do.
