Infiniti, being barely over a decade old, doesnt have a guaranteed volume seller like the Deville to rely on when sales are slow. They lost a lot of customers in the late 90s who havent returned. The G35 customers are folks moving up from Nissan and Toyota sedans and coupes.
I think its uncommon to find someone who bought a Q45 in 1990 who continues to buy an Infiniti (except on this forum).
I agree...
And I kinda blame it on the Y33... I konw of a few Y33 owners, and EVERY one of them (that arent on NICO/Q enthusiast) have moved onto a BMW or something like that...
I dream of the day they bring back something similar to the G50, with a 4.5l V8, with the classic styling and everything for a kickass price..... Some car they can bring back from their original hertiage, what little there is...
Cadillac is a completely different ball game... First of all, i really like their lineup... The STS is golden (more impressive when you sit in it), the DTS has always been an ultra sharp car, CTS I might drive over a G (cant come close to affording a payment on either so I can say that)... IF someone doesnt like the XLR they should not live, and the V....
Infiniti's lineup isnt too bad. I was plesantly impressed with the FX... G35 sedan doesnt impress me too much, the coupe cool....
