2005 G35 Sedan - backup lights fail to operate

Hello, I'm new to this forum and I know this topic has been posted before. However, I was unable to determine just what some of the fixes were. So, I'm posting here again. I am not a mechanic. In trying to research this issue, I found there may not be a fuse for the backup lights. Instead, there may only be a switch. Unsure exactly where that resides. If you've had this problem and resolved it, please share your details (include photos for locations of items if you could please. I've tried to find some of the information that could help me resolve this but even in looking at the online service manual (and the circuit for the backup lights), I could 'd find where some of those components were located. Thanks in advance.

You don't say whether it's an A/T or M/T. On the A/T there's no switch, just a relay driven by the TCM (which is located inside the transmission case). The relay is located in the Fuse & relay Box next to the battery, see PG-65 here:

For M/T the lamps are driven directly by a switch, located on the driver's side of the transmission tailshaft housing. See MT-21 here:

Thank you...it's an automatic so I will check out that relay...much appreciated. :o)
