So I searched on here and was able to get info on how to change out the headlight bulbs, and I did find out the OEM bulb is HID-D2R but I was wondering would it be just as good to get a bulb from autozone? Say a Silvania Silverstar? I believe the H1 or 9003 is the bulb can anyone chime in?

You just may want to do a search on the Internet and see what the difference between HID-D2R and H1 bulbs actually is.

D2R is an HID Xenon arc lamp. The H4 is a standard halogen bulb, they are not compatible. The arc bulb requires a ballast (and you shouldn't have to replace it unless it's broken) - the bulbs last almost forever.

The H4 is a filament bulb. Don't even think of replacing an HID with a filament lamp.

D2R is a standard HID lamp with light shield paint applied to the bulb housing. The D2S is the same bulb without the shield paint.
