Hi,

I've tried to use my floor jack to lift the car to remove one wheel to see if my snow rims will fit, but couldn't find a suitable location to place the floor jack under the car. In the end used the jack from the car and lifted the car using its factory emergency spots. But don't want to go through this again, hence what locations do you all use to lift the car if using a floor jack? (I need to get a factory manual...)

At the front, there is a cross member that has a hole in it (at least in mine there is) and is where I put my floor jack. Also, I've used the rear diff. Of course, always use floor jack. Recently, a co-worker's son was crushed to death under his car when it fell. His son was in his 30's. So, be carefull. I use Rhino ramps when I do not have to take the wheels off (oil change...)

I use a 4 ton hydraulic jack to lift the car & place the ramps under the wheels for an oil change.
