2005 g35 front end noise

HI:

2005 g35 coupe, front end noise....kind of a "thumping" noise when going over road cracks, bumps, etc. Mechanic checked front end, ball joints, sway bar bushings, etc. says all is good, no issues. 140.000 k's on car.

Noise is still there, and has increased in volume over last 10,000 k's. Mechanic insists front end is tight.

Any suggestions?

Is it a hollow noise? As my older tires wore down I noticed they made a more hollow "thumping" when I went over bumps and cracks. Try lowering and raising air pressure to see if the noise changes depth.
