OK so I have decided to debadge my car, and all of the post that I have read about debadging are all people who have new cars. Where my emblems are, there is like still this road grim or whatever that I cannot wash off or wax off. Will it still be ok to debadge my car, or will that stuff js be stuck there. I know I will have to wax it once I am done and that's the plan. Also what is the best way to debadge a car. Thanks -kbar-

There are several methods to go about doing this, but one of the most common is to heat the badge with a heat gun/hairdryer for a few seconds, then use a fishing line to "saw" the glue from behind. Don't rush through it, though.

goo gone will help remove the residue once you remove the emblems.
