2005 G35 Coupe Navigation system - Need help

Ok, so I just bought a used coupe in Illinois, but it didnt come with the Nav disc. The dealer just swiped it off another car in his lot (I didnt as questions) to close the deal with me. I like an idiot figured this would be the end of it.... but not so much.

So I have the Zenrin 6.4 disc, and it loads just fine... but it wont let me change the state in any menu (currently set to California). Ive been reading all over and all ive heard so far is that there was a "update" disc that I was suppose to use before putting in the 6.4 disc.

Can anyone help me?

- Can someone validate the issue and th remedy- Can someone help me with the update disc- Would it be better for me to shed $190 for the v6.6 disc? (Does anyone have a copy update + 6.6)?

Im new to the fourm, so let me know if you guys need more information. Im new to infinity, so im sure ill be having more questions later on. Had the car for 3 days now :o)

I remember having this issue, but ended up resetting everything and it allowed me to choose a different default state when i did.

I think the 6.6 has a lot of new stuff, but its only good if you have a lot of new construction around where you live/work, otherwise i'd say stick with the 6.4 for now.
