Hi,

Last night driving home at night I noticed a lot of glare in the rear view mirror from car head lights behind me. I thought maybe the auto dimming function was not working, but the LED on the mirror showed that it was in auto mode. I shut off the auto mode feature, but it didn't make any difference to the glare, turned it back on and no difference! Now I have a very light tint all around, but that shouldn't affect the auto dimming feature. Is there a way to adjust/fix this?

Thanks,Chris...

I have an 06

See page 3-32 in the owners manual. You have to turn that feature on.

Hopefully you won't need a new one. They cost like $400Part number (if all else fails) is 96321-CM30ATap the glass a few times while off, then turn it on. There may also be glare if someone has their hi-beams on. if a lot of light hits the sensor, it will think it is daytime and not dim.

Yes, the feature is turned on, as I mentioned the green LED is on. I tried to shine a flashlight on the sensor, and it makes no difference whether the 'feature' is on or off.
