2005 G-35 REV light information

Based on phone calls to Infiniti National, many dealers are not aware of the REV light feature on the six-speed models. There is a yellow illuminated "REV" light on the cluster where the A/T vehicles have the shift position P,R,N,D,1,2,3,4.This "REV" light is the shift indicator light, which allows the driver to adjust the RPM setting to there liking, when the engine RPM exceeds this level the red light flashes. Instructions for operating are in the owners manual page 5-16. The yellow "REV' light cannot be turned off! Also the RPM limiter for the engine has been increased to 7,000 RPM.
