2005 altima speed/odometer inop after swapping ?

I changed my speedo cluster from another car, everything works but the speedo/odometer? I thought the ecu may have sensed the switch so I put the original cluster back in, that worked fine.. how can I turn the speedometer/odometer back on?

Well, if your original gauge cluster works, and the new one does not, then it sounds like the new one is bad. Also, what model and year is the new one from?
