2005 altima qr25de crank sensor issue

So I get this 05 altima with the qr25de today comes on a flat bed so off the bat I know I'm in for a treat. The customer states she took it to some guy he replaced the cam sensor and crank sensor and he replaced one of them with the incorrect part , so far starters I replace them with new correct ones as per customer. Now here's were it gets fun , car cranks but doesn't run I check the obviously things fuel was good but I'm not getting any spark out of 3 out of 4 coil packs and the 4th one would spark twice and then stopped. So I unplug the crank sensor and for whatever reason I tried starting the car and it ran fine in limp mode but ran so I turned it off plug the sensor in put it back in the hole and doesn't run back to square 1. I remembered my 02 sentra had some relay in the kick panel running to the crank sensor ground so I cut the black (ground) wire and it ran but again in limp mode. My boss was really breaking my balls about this car and since I never experienced this exact problem in tried my hardest has anyone had this issue and fixed it I know it's electrical in nature but the fix I'm baffled on
