I had all 4 motor mounts replaced on my 2005 altima 3 years ago. I went to the shop to have some other work done recently and the "courtesy inspection" mentioned that the rear motor mount needs to be replaced again. Is it typical wear for a factory mount to only last 3 years? Is there an after market mount that is better quality? should I relace all 4 or only the one that presently shows damage? Is this something that a shade tree mechanic without a lift can complete or should I go back to the shop?
