2005 Altima Battery Cable

My 2005 has a blown fuse on the positive battery cable. Could this be the cause that my car won't start? The lights come on, the dashboard lights up when the key is turned, it's just that when you turn the key the car won't crank. Would replacing this fuse cause the car to start?
