My 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5S cranks good but won't start(i dont push on the gas pedal) then i turn it off then crank again still no start then on the 3rd try with the key only turned on i push the gas pedal down twice then turn the key off let the car sit 10-15 seconds then it starts fine.....im thinking its a fuel pressure problem but wheres the fuel pressure regulator located on my 2005 Altima 2.5S and is it adjustable(send photo if you can)......my buddy told me to take it to autozone and get a free dianostic test done Thanks

hey i have an 04 altima, i had a similar problem, in that when i tried starting my car it would also die, then i would have to turn the key again. it REALLY bugged me and the dealer told me that i would need to clean the throttle body. he said about $100-$150 canadian and it would take maybe an hour. well i took it to my mechanic and while getting an oil change i asked him to check it out. he removed the air intake to the throttle body and lightly cleaned it with a spray (i think quickstart or something) and a small brush, he cleaned it for about 5 min and it's been almost a year and i haven't had the same problem since.
