I recently put a CAI on my g/fs altima and I have a 4-2-1 header coming for it tomorrow I also want to put an exhaust system on it but after looking for about a hour or two I realized that it was going to take more than i was willing to pend so like the CAI I am planning on customizing the exhaust and I was wondering if anyone has any good suggestions as to what they have done and what has worked best for them I will admit that I have hardly any experience with altimas so anything is second nature to you guys may not be to me so if you could share just little things that have worked for you and helped you guys at all with anything on the car would be helpful thanks in advanced

Since you said it was your gf's car, I would say that she probably doesn't want it to sound all loud and riced out. IMO, the 2.5 sounds good with an intake and headers. The exhaust is what could make or break the symphony.

Personally, I was looking into the Greddy SP cat-back since it has a large resonator and large muffler to deaden the sound. And knowing Greddy, it will still flow a lot or air and sound deep and throaty. The SP sounded awesome and low-key on my integra when I had it, Any flow-thru style muffler/cat-back will be loud, so I'd stick with the more conservative systems.

Yeah she likes noise but nothing loud loud I was looking at Borla which I know is a good exhaust company as well as Flowmaster but I haven't ran across any Greddy exhaust systems do you happen to have a link to the one you were reffering to? I personally like Greddy haven't had or heard any complaints It's either you like it or you don't.

Sorry my bad. I was confusing the Greddy SP2 with the Apexi WS2. Apexi makes some top notch stuff and the WS2 is basically the same style of exhaust that the SP2 is. It has a larger "true" muffler (SS) and not a flow-thru style muffler that will most likely end up being loud.

I don't know much about fFlowmaster or Borla, but I couldn't find a link to a Borla catback for the 2.5L.
