Ive owned this car for exactly 24 months, in that time about 8 times it would not fire on the first try. It would take the 3rd attempt before it would turn over. Once it starts its normal, no rough idle or smoke and no CEL light.Ive always used 93 octane and its not the battery because it makes a strong cranking sound like it wants to start but its amost like its not getting any fuel?? I know the 2002's had a problem with flooding if the engine was started and shut right away, but in my situation this is not the case. Does the computer store any codes when a situation like this happens and does it pay to have the dealer look at it with such an intermittent problem? thanks

My wife's nissan wouldnt start today because the connection to the positive was loose. So she gets some help from some random dude and he tries to tighten the connection and then they begin to jump start the car. He stupidly connects both ends to both cars and he fried the positive connection on my wifes car. I then replaced the battery, replaced the connector, and now the car wont stay on, it dies after maybe 3 seconds. Also all the electrical stuff minus the lights do not work. Does this sound like they fried some of the fuses?

Any help appreciated.
