First off I would like to say thanks for all the great info on this site. You guys are doing a great service for the guys that like to get their hands dirty!

Now, I have replaced the oil cooler gasket. The oil leak is very slow and usaully the only oil I see is on the cross brace under the car. But it is using a quart to a quart and a half between oil changes( every 3000miles).

I was thinking of doing the oil pan gasket next , the RTV silicone. Inoticed the oil pressure switch had a stream looking stain on the pan. Could this be the culprit? Do I need to replace the switch itself or just the RTV on the threads?

My car has 117000 miles. I replaced the idler pulley bracket, the cv joint and the oil cooler gasket. Other than that no problems...lol

Thanks for any help.

Reseal the threads on the Oil pressure switch.

If that fails consult a professional.
