2004 sentra spec v something went thru the motor surging

It appears that something has entered and exited cylinder 4. It caused the spark plug to foul out because of no gap. When looking in the cylinder with a bore scope you can see that the piston is cleaned off with small knicks in the top surface. It appears that there is a Technical Service Bulletin about this problem. Apparently some screws are coming off the Power Module ( I think that is what it is called ) and are getting sucked into the motor. Have you heard of this problem? My car is out of warrenty because of mileage. Is there something I can do to fix the missing screws?

I think they have a recall for that. Its the power valve, the screws tend to get loose and sometimes the plate comes off and gets sucked in the cylinders. I would contact your local dealership to have them look at it.
