I was wondering if the stock radio had an aux hook up behind the actual componet? I have NAVI on my G too. Some stereo place is trying to charge me $200.00 to hook up my IPOD for a direct connect??? IS this correct?

I just installed the USA Spec adaptor, it was $120 shipped. I would say $200 to install would be a decent price. You can DIY, it wasn't too bad, took me about an hour. You wont be able to use satellite with this application. Your navi will still work though. Here is more information on the USA Spec:

I found mine on ebay. Hope this helps.

Yes, that is a very good one. I used that as well as this one:

Im very happy with the install. I can now function ipod through the steering controls. I ran the wire up the center counsel into the arm rest where the 12 volt charger is. Worked extremely well.

I have an '05 G35c, and it does not have a button for "SAT". Would I still be able to install one of these Ipod hookups?

This adapter allows you to toggle songs via your steering wheel controls.

I want to say you still can, not 100%. I would call Crutchfield and find out for sure:

Hi guys. I was wondering if you can help me. I have a 2003 G35 (not 2003.5) with factory navigation. My cd has that error problem but Infiniti is charging $$$$. I am looking at the USA SPEC PA11-NIS for my G35 sedan but when I am on the USA SPEC website, it says 2004 or newer G35's are compabitle but does not say anything about 2003 G35's? Do you know if this product would work with my car? It does not have the SAT button on the bose system, it has CD TAPE FM and AM buttons in it.

If anybody can help me with this would be great!!!Thanks!!!

I'll have to double check, but I wanna say that all G35's have a connection at the back of the stereo to connect a SAT radio. Some G35's were not prewired to the trunk for it though.

As for the 05+ models, the Sat button was deleted, but the function is more like plug and play where the headunit will detect the SAT radio if it is plugged in and will be available by pressing the radio button. It will just respond like 2 extra radio bands (i.e. AM/FM/SAT1/SAT2).

That said, any of these SAT interfaces would work so long as there is a SAT connection in the back of the unit. I used a Pac-Audio Unit to provide an aux input whan I had the G.

Thanks!!!I just talked to somebody at everythingg35 and he told me that certain 2003 G35's were pre-wired with the harness and some weren't. He asked for my VIN number and by looking at that, he told me I needed the satellite harness and PA 11 NIS ipod kit for it to work on my G35. Everythingg35 carried both products.Has anybody here done this process on there 2003 G35? Also, does the factory navigation still work?

Thanks!!
