2004 QX no front dvd even while parked.

I just bought a 2004 QX56 and would like to do the DVD and navi hack to enable them while driving. However, i dont have front DVD even when the car is parked and with the ebrake on. I havent read any one mention in any forum that the DVD on the 2004 is not conected to the front. Is that the case? Is it not even conected and wont work even when the car is parked?

Has any one with a 2004 QX56 gotten the DVD working in the front? Was it working in park before you did the hack?

The 04 model did not have any conection to the front monitor. You can add your own using a product from TVandNAV2go.com or avelectronic.com.

'08 and newer had the DVD feed sent to the front Nav screen. The TVandNav2go unit is much cheaper and works just as well.
