2004 Quest radio cuts out.

I have a 2004 Quest that has an issue with the radio. Radio will cut out with no reason. All electronics still function as if working, just no sound. The speakers will work in the rear, then the front, then no sound, etc. Just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this and is it something repairable, and if so, can anyone tell me how, I am mechanically capable. Thanks!
