2004 Quest P0447 Code

My Quest has a P0447 Code and P0447 pending. Based on what I read the error indicates Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Control Circuit Open and the first part indicated is a Faulty canister vent control valve. There are 2 parts related to this code. 1. Vapor Canister Purge Valve (Located on the Canister under the rear of the vehicle) and 2. Vapor canister Vent Solenoid (Located in the engine compartment). Which of these would be correlate to the (Faulty Canister Vent Control Valve)? It is confusing because they say the word valve on one and vent on the other, but the code references a Vent Control Valve. SMH. Any info is appreciated.
