I called the nissan dealer. If passenger window will not stay up, it cost $85 to reset the motor. But first try to reset the motor yourself. Using the passenger window switch. Open the window and hold the switch for two seconds. Then close the window and again hold the switch for two seconds after it closes all the way. If that does not work, the door panel has to be taken off so the window motor can be reset. Ron Kadey [email protected]

I believe it's 10 seconds, not two. Also, make sure that you are not holding the button all the way down to automatic. It is a two stage switch. Just hold it in the first stage. If that doesn't work, the reset procedure for the motor can be found here.

Good luck.

Also, if you can't fix the problem, I found that this problem only happens with the auto up feature. If you use the manual mode to put it up, it won't come back down.

If it does not resolve your issue, chances are its a bad ground somewhere, or the window switch itself.
