Well I was wandering around krogers today aimlessly for 7.25 an hour (as usual) and I had an epifany. Since manufacturers make parts for cars like 10 years after they end production, in theory could you not buy a WHOLE set? Even if they didnt have absolutely everything you needed brand new like the frame or whatever, if you had like unlimited money could you build yourself a 240 with 0 miles? If so, ill just go to my magical money bag and call up the local parts department and place that motha! :ylsuper

im sure they have a museum of some sort holding each model of car they have made but good luck trying to buy one from them. i remember watching super tuner tv awhile ago when they went to a large garage that held a bunch of nissans but they were mostly from the 70s and race ready types. dont remember who was the owner

Isnt it that they continue to make older models of cars continually? I remember someone told me that in Japan they keep making older years untill there is no market for them anymore.

Why would they? To replace it, it would cost more than the car itself. There would just be no demand for it for the cost to replace a unibody. Unibodys are integrated into the car. It;s not like a truck where the body can be lifted from the frame and put onto another with relative ease.

right but once the manufacturing facility is gone or refitted, no more. i dont think the factory is still fitted to make s13 14 or even 15 frames anymore....-Enzo
