2004 Murano slips out of gear while driving

I had my transmission fluid changed at the dealer about 6 weeks ago during my 90k service. Since then on 4 different occassions the car seems to have slipped out of gear while I was driving and slowed down to a slow pace then nothing. I've put the car in park turned it off and then back on. It's fine after that. I'm taking it to the dealer on Monday. It has 98k miles, not under warranty. Has anyone else experienced this problem. I've had the car for 4 years, and this problem just started. I don't want to have to buy a new transmission. Can someone help

Please let us know what the dealer says. It if funny that it didn't happen until after you had the service done.

The dealer said the transmission module needed to be reprogramed.

Hopefully, this is all it needed. I am going to be very careful for the next few days, and not drive in the fast lane as usual.

Dealer couldn't figure out what was causing the problem. Traded the 2004 in for a 2009 LE.

Really???? That is awesome!!! I can't wait until my '09 LE comes in! What color did you get? Do you have any pictures to post yet?

Since there are no gears, this couldn't have been good. Sounds like someone's going to be buying a problem.

So what do you think about the 2009 vs. the 2004?
