2004 maxima weird noise help

I get this weird whining noise like a small motor or something is stuck. I hear the noise when I turn the key to the "on" position or when I turn the car off and when Im driving slowly. It just started doing this a few days ago. The noise seems to be coming from somewhere near the front left wheel area. Is this the ABS problem?

Any ideas?Any help would be greatly appreciated thanx!

Hmmm...Have you listened from under the hood or just in the cabin?Is it possible that it's coming from inside the dash (perhaps an HVAC mix door motor?)

I doubt it's abs-related.

Another thing that could be the cause, although it's in the opposite direction from what you describe, is the fuel pump.

Yea, Im positive its VERY close to the left front wheel well... Its like a pumping/motor/actuator kinda sound. Kinda like the sound an electric water-gun makes... It is soooo annoying! lol

please.. if anyone knows what crazy noise is.. HELP!
